Our Mission

Women in Technology (WIT) strives to empower women and expand their participation in the workforce by providing Partner Organizations, and the women they serve, with cutting-edge curricula and training opportunities in business planning, information technology through Microsoft's Unlimited Potential curriculum, as well as professional development skills. WIT also seeks to provide underprivileged women with scholarships for hands-on training, thus enabling ambitious women to either enter the workforce or develop their own businesses regardless of their financial capacities.

What we Aspire to Achieve in Jordan

  • Provide quality training on IT and professional development skills to more than 100 ambitious women from each Partner Organization within the first year of the Program
  • Overcome some women’s lack of knowledge of IT applications, especially in underserved areas
  • Contribute to making entering the workforce for many women a choice rather than a near impossibility
  • Enable women in Jordan with knowledge, skills and much-needed support to establish professional networks to help strengthen their opportunities of either entering the workforce or developing their own businesses
